The River Knows My Name

Single · December 11, 2026

A song about going down to the water to find your own face, and finding someone else’s. One night, no promises, and a door that opens only once.

Lizzy Veyra's reflection in the still river beneath a wooden dock.

About

A low voice, a quiet room, and a river that remembers.

Lizzy Veyra sings midnight soul with gospel in its bones. Her songs come from the hours most people sleep through: cafés at the end of the road, side streets after the rain, rooms after the last guest has gone.

She watches more than she performs. The songs are what she saw.
